2nd Act: Jane Pinho

Jane Pinho's story is not about giving up — it's about rising through life’s storms and finding strength to shine.
At 47, Jane’s world was shattered by the sudden loss of her husband. Overnight, she became a single mother navigating grief, parenting two sons, and facing troubling health symptoms that led to a life-changing diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease. As Jane cared for her aging parents, supported a dying brother, and held her career and family together, she discovered a deeper well of strength than she ever knew she had. Amid the darkness, she found unexpected light — love again, faith renewed, and purpose in the pain.
When the world shut down during Covid, Jane’s journey took yet another turn. But instead of breaking her, it awakened her. With grace, humor, and determination, she chose to embrace the unknown and write a whole new book whose first chapter is how to advocate for yourself or a friend or family member who may be mis-diagnosed and at a loss of how to attack a chronic or terminal illness. Jane chose not to let Parkinson’s define her but use it as a platform to help others. Jane chose to share her story not to put focus on her struggles but to remind anyone walking through their own storm, you are not alone.
This is Jane’s story — an inspiring testament to the human spirit, and a reminder that even in life’s hardest seasons, hope and healing are always possible.
