AAW Arts Saturday

The Arts Alliance of Woodbury will host its final Arts Saturday of the year that will feature various local artists displaying and selling their creations along with performances by four local musicians, Victoria Munez, Tracy Santa, Sierra West,
and Dan Golias, performing from 12:30 PM-3:30 PM.
Spoken Word Poetry will continue the artistic performances from 3:30 PM-5:00 PM with Woodbury’s Poet Laureate Emerita, Sandy Carlson and local poet Julie Cook.
Victoria Munoz’s songs, both serious and humorous, were influenced by her travels
and Joni Mitchell. She is currently a member of the Berkshire Jazz Orchestra and the
Petaluma Folk/Celtic Ensemble.
Tracy Santa has been writing, recording and playing for some 40 years. He placed second in three separate New England Songwriter Competitions (2023, 2022, 2020) and first in the 2014 CT Folk contest.
Sierra West has produced two albums and is working on her third. She is blessed with a sweet, strong and earthy voice.
Dan Golias (Young Dan to his local audiences) has been called a "human
jukebox" for his extensive musical knowledge from the Beatles to the classics of the
American Songbook.
Julie Cook has been a lifelong lover and writer of poetry from an early age. She facilitates classes on poetry, writing and music at Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UConn Waterbury. Her first book of poetry, Morning Grace, was published in September of this year.
Come in and start your holiday shopping while supporting your local artist community. Anyone who visits on December 13th will automatically be entered into the Door Prize drawing for two free tickets to the Woodbury Bethlehem Community Music Foundation’s Chamber Concert on March 22, 2026. The tickets have been generously donated by the Bob Clarke family.
The nonprofit Arts Alliance of Woodbury promotes innovation, creativity,
participation in and support of the arts. Subsequent events include Meet and
Greets on the second Wednesday of March, June (annual gala), September and
December; Arts Walks on the third Saturday of May, June, July and August, and a
