AAW Arts Walk
Join AAW as we celebrate the arts with a walk along Main Street. Over 20 artists and artisans will line up along Main Street and share their work. You'll find extraordinary paintings, photography, handcrafted jewelry and pottery, books by local authors, block prints, handwoven home goods and handcrafted gift items. There will be a spinning demonstration of alpaca fiber and more.
Musical performers will be playing all afternoon, and ballet dancers will perform on the Library Lawn. The popular Spoken Word starts at 3:00 PM at Studio Hill Gallery. Other stops of special interest include the Glebe House Museum and Jekyll Garden with a weaving demonstration and storyteller from the Institute for American Indian Studies, artist Peter Seltzer opens his studio at 125 Main Street North, and the Old School House will be open all afternoon.
There is no cost for this wonderful family friendly event.
