Arts Alliance of Woodbury 7th Annual Members Exhibition

The annual exhibit includes works by AAW member artists in a variety of media, and 6 "Best In" awards totaling $1,200.00 will be presented.

This year’s juror Julie Francois, the Art Bridges Fellow at the Mattatuck Museum, where she works within the curatorial department to advance Art Bridges initiatives and foster interdisciplinary collaboration across the institution. Her work centers on expanding public accessibility and deepening community engagement through thoughtful exhibition development and interpretation.

As a graduate of Tufts University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Francois brings a deep passion for representational justice and socially engaged art from her practice to her curatorial vision. Emphasizing the power of art to serve as a catalyst for dialogue, reflection, and collective understanding. Through her approach, she seeks to create spaces where audiences can see themselves reflected, challenged, and inspired, and where institutions can serve as platforms for both healing and transformation.
