Description
Join us for a ceremony celebrating Juneteenth and honoring those buried in Waterbury’s first cemetery for people of color, located on Grand Street, as it is added to the Connecticut Freedom Trail, which celebrates the resilience and spirit of African American communities and history. The program will begin with musical performances by Kazi Oliver and Quinn Mitchell. The event is sponsored in part by the NAACP Greater Waterbury.
