Holiday Fused Glass Cookie Plate

I hope you’re leaving out cookies for Santa this year! In this workshop, students make one large fused glass plate, or a handful of small glass cookie plates. Or bowls! It doesn’t have to be for cookies. You can do whatever you want with this. As long as you’re merry about it. Students will learn the ins and outs of fused glass, including a demo on how to safely use the tools and how glass can change in the kiln. In this workshop, we use COE 90 Bullseye fused glass, stringers, and frit. You will be guided under our experienced fused glass instructors to make something Santa is gonna love every year.
You’ll be doing something called coldworking, meaning you are making the project without using a kiln. We’ll be doing the firing after you leave. Projects will be ready in about a week or so after the workshop.
