I Wrote That! Author Talk: Lillian Colon

Lillian Colón’s passion, talent, and drive have propelled her from an orphanage in the Bronx to stages around the world, including Radio City Music Hall where she became the first Latina Rockette.
Lillian was a little girl growing up in the Lt. Joseph P. Kennedy Jr. Home for Children in the Bronx, when the nuns first took her to Radio City Music Hall to see the Rockettes. Since that day, Lilly was driven to become a dancer. She never let obstacles and family tragedy stand in the way of her dreams as she danced her way into history as the first Latina Rockette.
