Spring Nature Days

For children 6 -11 years old who love to be outdoors! Enjoy a few days exploring the nature center’s wetlands, meadows, and forests, and learn what makes each habitat unique and important for the animals that live there. Children will need to be prepared to get wet and muddy during our adventures. Please pack appropriate clothes and shoes as well as snacks and lunch. Hikes, games, crafts, and cooking will be incorporated into our lessons. This is a great choice for a fun spring break experience!
TUITION PER WEEK: $92* for priority students (Ansonia residents and current family-level FANCI members); $108* for all others.
One camp session runs from Tuesday through Thursday, 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM
* Plus processing fee

The program staff are qualified and trained to be with children outdoors: however, nature is unpredictable. Injuries can occur at any time. Insect bites, stings, falls, tripping over roots, and slipping into water are all risks to which your child may be exposed. Our teachers are vigilant of danger and our mission is to teach campers to be active participants in their safety; this includes not wandering from the group, asking for clarification if they don’t understand instructions, and responding immediately to safety directions. Use this guideline to assess if summer nature days are a good fit for your child.
