"The Birds of the Low Country"

Local photographer Michael Audette will present talk featuring a collection of song and shorebirds from South Carolina at the Woodbury Public Library on Tuesday, February 3 at 6:00 PM. The photo presentation of colorful birds includes a variety of warblers, egrets, sandpipers and plovers and are often seen migrating through Connecticut, especially our coastline.
Michael Audette has been a photographer for most of his adult life with a focus on wildlife and bird photography over the past 20 years. He actively participates in Connecticut bird counts and frequently travels along the East Coast, tracking migratory birds from Maine to South Carolina. Michael serves on the Board of the Connecticut Ornithological Association and holds the position of Board Vice President of Flanders Nature Center & Land Trust.
