Waterbury Arts Magnet School Theatre presents "Chicago"

Kander & Ebb's legendary and award-winning musical Chicago is performed by students from the Waterbury Arts Magnet School Theatre Department.
In the Roaring Twenties in Chicago, chorus girl Roxie Hart murders a faithless lover and convinces her hapless husband, Amos, to take the rap...until he finds out he's been duped and turns on Roxie. Convicted and sent to death row, Roxie and another merry murderess, Velma Kelly, vie for the spotlight and the headlines, ultimately joining forces in search of the American Dream: fame, fortune, and acquittal.
Specifically designed to be content-appropriate, Chicago: Teen Edition has been adapted to remove overtly sexual references and adult language. Presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals.
Produced by Dr. Maria Stasaitis, directed by Tyler Caisse, music directed by Marianna Vagnini.
