Win an Oil Painting of the "Christmas Canoe" Oil Painting by ShawnaLee W. Kwashnak. The painting was created during a church fundraiser dinner & variety show and donated to the Middlebury Congregational church. You have an opportunity to WIN this oil painting!
Raffle tickets are only $5 each and will be available for purchase from the MCC:
GET YOUR TICKETS:
- - Saturday, 12/6 4-6pm During the Christmas Tree Lighting. Find the Raffle table either ON THE GREEN, or IN THE SOCIAL HALL of the MCC from 4-6pm.
- Sunday, 12/7, during Coffee Hour at the MCC. (11-11:30ish)
- - 12/14 from 11-12noon (after church service during coffee hour)
Drawing date December 14th, 2025
Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held on the Green in Middlebury CT.

Middlebury's Christmas Tree Lighting Event is Saturday, December 6th from 4-6pm.
In addition to the wonderful tree lighting ceremony on the green (4pm), there will be lots of other events* on the green including:
- A singalong inside the MCC at 4:45pm;
- Hot chocolate by the parsonage
- RAFFLE Table by the parsonage for "Christmas Canoe": Tickets are JUST $5 each. Tickets will ONLY be available during the Tree Lighting, and briefly during coffee hour on December 7th and 14th (coffee hour is after service and is typically 11-11:30). The lucky winner will be drawn December 14th at the conclusion of coffee hour. Good Luck!!!!
