Fall Fused Glass Lanterns

It’s fall y’all. And you know what we love about fall? How freakin colorful it is out in the wild. Falling leaves, a crisp morning, the bright oranges and the golden yellows. Ugh. Stop. I’m so ready for this and I want to keep that feeling forever. Aaaaand you can! In this workshop, we are making 4 fall themed panels out of fused glass, stringers, and frit. We’ll be going over the glass we use, tool demonstrations, safety precautions and showing students the building block techniques of fused glass.
You’ll be doing a type of glasswork called coldworking – this means you’ll be working with glass without applying heat. We’ll be firing the pieces after you leave in the kiln, and everyone’s project will be ready within a week. You don’t have to worry about assembling your lantern, either. We got that.
What to Expect:
Craft a one-of-a-kind fused glass lantern featuring rich fall colors! We’re talking fiery leaves, golden pumpkins, and deep harvest hues.
You’ll be learning fundamental glass fusing techniques in a pretty cool place.
Choose from a variety of textures, patterns, and autumn-inspired glass palettes. (Or whatever you want. You can make a rainbow forest. That’s fine with us.)
Receive step-by-step guidance from an experienced instructor.
Take home your finished lantern within a week!
